Activitat 1: Lectura d'un poema
Els alumnes han de treballar amb un poema de Todd Alcott anomenat'Television'. Hi ha la manera tradicional de llegir un poema i fer les activitats corresponents. Que sigui tradicional, no vol dir que no sigui adequada; però amb l'ús de les noves tecnologies aquesta activitat pot millorar moltíssim.
1. Aquí hi ha el poema original:

Okay, so we have an agreement: you’ll do what you absolutely have to do and when you’re done, you’ll come back and look at me.
